Daki, originally a human named O-Ei, lived in the Yoshiwara Entertainment District. Her life was marked by severe abuse, and she was eventually murdered by a client. In her dying moments of despair, Muzan Kibutsuji offered her immortality, transforming her into a demon. As Daki, she shed her victimhood for vanity, viewing humanity as cattle to be consumed. Her Blood Demon Art allows her to detach and control her obi sashes like living serpents, capable of severing limbs without physical contact. Crucially, she unknowingly absorbed her brother Gyutaro into herself during their childhood, creating the singular 'Upper Six' entity. This symbiotic bond makes them nearly invincible until separated.

In Their Own Story

During the Entertainment District arc, Daki's reign was challenged by Tengen Uzui and his team. After infiltrating her brothel, Tanjiro Kamado engaged her in a brutal fight. Though she captured Nezuko using her sashes, Nezuko's blood resistance shattered Daki's confidence. As the battle dragged into dawn, Gyutaro finally revealed himself to save her. Together they faced Tengen and Tanjiro, but their unity was broken by the rising sun. With Gyutaro disintegrating in the light, Daki screamed for him until she too turned to ash.
