Tamayo's Group defies the natural order of the demon world, where survival typically depends on consuming human flesh. Tamayo, having severed her connection to Muzan centuries ago, dedicates her existence to medical research rather than predation. Yushiro serves as her protector and assistant, utilizing his own Blood Demon Art to shield them from detection. Their partnership with Tanjiro Kamado marks a turning point in the war, proving that not all demons are irredeemable monsters. The group's primary goal is to cure demons and destroy Muzan Kibutsuji, making them a unique force in the conflict between humans and demons.

In Their Own Story

The partnership solidified in Asakusa when Tamayo intervened to save Tanjiro and Nezuko from Muzan's control. While Yushiro guarded their perimeter using his Blood Demon Art to mask their presence, Tamayo synthesized a cure for Nezuko and developed a blood-based poison targeting Muzan's cells. During the Infinity Castle Arc, Tamayo sacrificed her life to immobilize the Demon King, buying crucial time for the Hashira to execute their final assault. After Muzan's death, the group disbanded as their mission to vanquish him and all demons had been accomplished.
